The town of Anning is around 34 kilometers outside Kunming and the hot water springs are located about 8 kilometers outside the town. The waters are at a constant and were first discovered during the period of the Han dynasty. Bathing in the deep olive green springs is said to be advantageous to health. There are also some pleasurable walks close by.
