China Art Gallery

Founded in 1959, the China Art Gallery has 14 exhibition halls with a total floor space of 6,000 square meters. Architecturally, the building successfully melds traditional roofing and structure with light, modern space. Visitors particularly enjoy the gallery frequently changing Chinese and foreign art. The gallery also has a gift store that sells an excellent selection of folk art including woodblock prints and paper-cuts and also art books, note-cards and calligraphy brushes.
The China Art Gallery justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place.
