China Folk Culture Village
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. However, China is rapidly developing and has grown in the phase of modernization, with an immense speed and is also welcoming the outer world to interact and do business with them. China Folk Culture Village occupies an area of over 200,000 square meters and was designed to provide an introduction to some of the different ethnic groups in China. There are 24 life size recreations of villages, which demonstrate the art, customs, culture and architecture of some of China minorities. A few of China’s most famous sights are reproduced in miniature to add some extra context to the different villages. Visitors can join in making ethnic handicrafts and take part in traditional singing and dancing. Throughout the villages there is a large selection of different types of food from all over China to taste. In the evening, the Central Theater presents a musical stage show followed by a carnival parade. China Folk Culture Village justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place.
