China Silk Museum
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. The China Silk Museum, a state-level museum, covers an area of 70 measurement unit, with a floor space of 10,000 square meters. The museum includes an introduction hall, a cultural relics hall, a folklore hall, a mulberry and silkworm hall, a silk production hall, a silk weaving hall, a dyeing hall, a modem achievements hall and a friendship store. The China Tea Museum is located besides the West Lake, home of the Longjing brand tea it is the only state-level comprehensive tea museum in China. It has six halls respectively featuring tea history, tea samples, tea production process, tea sets and tea customs. There is also a tea ceremony section, where visitors can watch ancient and modern tea ceremonies in various parts of China, and tea ceremonies of Japan. Around the Pure Brightness every year, the museum is the venue for an international West Lake tea symposium. China Silk Museum justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place.
