Dinghu Shan

Located almost 18 kilometers to the northeast of Zhaoqing, Dinghu Shan is a range of densely forested mountains reaching up to 1,000 meters that is 3,280 feet in height. The entire mountain range has been voted as an area of unique interest by the United Nation. It is also one of the largest biodiversity spot with at least 17,000 types of plant species growing in this area. The refreshing milieu with lakes, waterfalls, temples and pavilions increase the beauty of the hills. The Baiyun Temple in this area was built during the Tang dynasty which lasted from 618 to 907 century and the Qingyun Temple was built during the Ming dynasty which lasted from 1368 to 1644 century. Dinghu Shan, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. The refreshing milieu, gentle breeze, best geographical environment and the best quality of life around the hills offer the most pleasant site for tourists to enjoy their vacations.
