Nine Dragon Wall is to be found in central Datong within the old city ramparts. The wall was constructed in 1392 to cover up the palace of a prince of Ming dynasty that lasted from1368 to 1644. This palace burned down in the 15th century, the 45 meter that is 148 feet long screen wall survived. This wall is ornamented with intensely colored glazed tiles, carved dragons as well as animals.

Nine Dragon Wall is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in China. It is worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place will leave a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justify the proud cultural tradition of China.
