Seven Star Cave
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. Situated midway up the western slope of the Putuo Mountain, the Seven Star Cave is the biggest possibly the most fascinating cave in Guilin. The cave has three layers where the top lies roughly several meters higher than the middle layer, but the latter has splendid scenic spots. The 1,000 meter long of the cave is a gallery of stalactites and stalagmites of the most fabulous shapes and forms. Some the more renowned names that have been given to the shapes include old banyan welcoming its guest, two lions fighting for a ball and water overflowing the golden mountain.
The Seven Star Cave is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in China. It is worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place will leave a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justify the proud cultural tradition of China.
