This museum is the first of its kind in China and has 22 restored ancient tombs dating from the Han dynasty that lasted from 206 to 220 BC to the Northern Song dynasty that lasted from 960 to 1127 AD. Several colorful murals have been restored and pottery pieces and other relics removed from the tombs are in addition on dispay.
