Wuyi Shan
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. However, China is rapidly developing and has grown in the phase of modernization, with an immense speed and is also welcoming the outer world to interact and do business with them. Wuyi Shan is one of the popular tourist attractions in China. It is a national park located in the north of Fujian province and stretches over a land area of about 60 square kilometers. The dominant natural features of the park include the Jiuqu River and 36 hills and peaks in the vicinity. There are picturesque sites, waterfalls, pools, caves, peaks and small villages throughout the national park. The Jiuqu River translates as Nine Twists River and the best way to experience this river is by taking a trip on a bamboo raft down the whole nine twists and eighteen bends. For the best view of the 36 peaks, one can climb to the summit of Dawang Peak and also visit the Wuyi Palace that lies at the foot of the peak. The refreshing milieu, gentle breeze, excellent environment and the best quality of life around the Wuyi Shan park offers the most pleasant site for tourists to enjoy their vacations. Its beauty and place in history captivates, and many visitors return again and again.
