Yufeng Hill
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. However, China is rapidly developing and has grown in the phase of modernization, with an immense speed and is also welcoming the outer world to interact and do business with them. Yufeng Hill, means fish peak hill as the 88 meter hill in Yufeng Park looks like a standing fish. The peak of the hill is a good observation point of the industrial city of Liuzhou, and has become a popular tourist attraction because of a famous legend. It is said that 3rd sister of the House of Liu was a beloved singer who enjoyed singing about mountains and shepherds, but also criticized the greed of the local lord in her songs. One day, the enraged lord drove her into a pond, but two carps came to save her. 3rd sister Liu escaped on the back of one, and the other turned into a stone mountain burying the lord beneath him. A statue of 3rd sister Liu has been built in the area where she supposedly sang and from which she eventually rose to heaven. Halfway up the mountain there are 7 rock caves, including the Arhat Cave, Carp Cave and other caves which are linked together. More than 50 small dragon pools in the caves drain through crevices in the rock to the Liu River. Yufeng Hill adds to the beauty of China and this fact has consolidated along with abroad tourists visiting the place, making it the most favorite holiday destination for most of the vacation lovers.
