Zhanqiao Pier

Zhangqiao Pier is at the tip of Qingdao Bay off Zhongshan road. This 440 meter strip that stretches into the sea was constructed in 1891 and was the first wharf in Qingdao. An octagonal pavilion known as the Billow Returning Tower hulian ge stands at the end of the pier.

This pier's tip is crowned with Huilan Pavilion, an eight-sided construction that has become a Qingdao symbol made popular by its use on Tsingtao beer labels. Vendors cram the pavilion's interior selling everything from souvenirs to ice cream. Close estimate to Beach Number Six, and Little Qingdao Isle make this a much admired tourist stop.

Zhangqiao Pier is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in China. It is worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place will leave a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justify the proud cultural tradition of China.
