Huangshan Shi
China is located in Eastern Asia, bordering the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, and South China Sea, between North Korea and Vietnam. It has an extremely diverse climate, tropical in south to subarctic in north. It is world's fourth largest country after Russia, Canada, and US. Beijing is the capital of China. It has 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions and 4 municipalities.
Huangshan Shi is a prefecture-level city centered on the Huangshan Mountains in southern Anhui province, People's Republic of China. Its urban area was originally the city of Tunxi, now constitutes Tunxi District. Huangshan is the southernmost prefecture-level city in the province and borders Chizhou to the northwest, Xuancheng to the northeast, and the provinces of Jiangxi and Zhejiang to the southwest and southeast, respectively. Huangshan, one of the most famous mountain peak in China, is a frequent place for tourist visits. In 1990, Huangshan was listed as a World Heritage Site.
Huangshan Shi population is 1,470,000 and area 9,807 square kilometers. The prefecture-level city of Huangshan administers 7 county-level divisions, including 3 districts and 4 counties such as Tunxi District, Huangshan District, Huizhou District, She County, Xiuning County, Yi County, and Qimen County. These are further divided into 145 township-level divisions, including 42 towns, 100 townships and 3 subdistricts.
