Shantou
China is located in Eastern Asia, bordering the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, and South China Sea, between North Korea and Vietnam. It has an extremely diverse climate, tropical in south to subarctic in north. It is world's fourth largest country after Russia, Canada, and US. Beijing is the capital of China.
Shantou is a city of 1.2 million in coastal eastern Guangdong Province, China, metropolitan area. Shantou is one of the most densely-populated regions in China. Former Chaoyang City was China's most populous county-level division, with 2.4 million people. The total area is of 234 square kilometers with 1.2 million city residents and 4.7 million in 2006 in Metropolitan Area.
Shantou is also said to be as the town of best geographical environment and can trace its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and pursue enthusiasm in its natural beauty and populace.
