Xuzhou
China, an East Asian country is one of the world’s oldest civilizations. It has a vast cultural history of more than five thousand years and an outstanding natural beauty. On the other hand, this country has remained a comparatively isolated and secluded one, and being a land of mystery, this country is not known to the western half of the world. Xuzhou is a prefecture-level city in northwestern Jiangsu province, People's Republic of China. It is known for its convenient location as a transportation hub in northern Jiangsu, as it has expressways and railway links connecting directly to the provinces of Henan and Shandong, the neighbouring city of Lianyungang, as well as the economic hub Shanghai. The total area is 11,258 square kilometers with population of 9,168,500 was estimated in 2004.
Xuzhou is located in the southeast of North China Plain. The area of Xuzhou usually experiences short springs and autumns, and the summers are very long and sun scorching hot, with relatively cold winters, and there is a lower than average level of precipitation.
Xuzhoucity represents one of the oldest civilizations. This city is surrounded by mountains which makes it very beautiful. The city is also developing in various fields. The city is developing to be a strong industrial unit with plenty of tourism.
